Natural gas heaters with an intermediate heat carrier type PG are designed to heat natural gas before throttling as part of the process equipment of gas distribution stations (GDS), compressor stations (CS) and main pipelines.
The heaters provide heating and automatic maintenance of the set gas temperature at the heater outlet or at the outlet of the GDS reduction unit. The accuracy of maintaining the set gas temperature is ±1 °C.
What the system provides
- Indirect heating: the gas does not contact the flame — the heat is transferred through an intermediate heat carrier (water/glycol)
- Automatic maintenance of the set outlet temperature, ±1 °C
- Burner automation with flame control, gas pressure and temperature protection
- Operation on the gas of the station itself (own needs)
- Fully automatic operation without a permanent operator
- Integration with SAU GRS: remote start/stop, setpoints, alarms
